Investor Incentive Program
Build on What's Been Cleared.
Four ways to get involved — from hands-on development to tax-deductible giving — all supporting new housing in South Central Kansas.
Four ways to get involved.
Stack the development incentives to maximize your return — or support the mission through a tax-deductible donation.
Demolition Assistance
Eligible blighted structures can be demolished using designated regional grant funds — at no cost to the investor. This removes the single biggest barrier to site development and delivers a cleared, ready-to-build lot.
Free or Reduced-Cost Property
Once a structure is demolished, cleared lots may be made available to qualified investors and developers at free or significantly reduced cost, lowering your total acquisition expense and accelerating your project timeline.
Infill Development Assistance
After demolition, recover up to $5,000 in approved utility installation costs — including water and sewer service lines and electric service — through a 50% reimbursement on eligible expenses.
Tax-Deductible Giving
Support the initiative through a tax-deductible charitable donation. Contributions help fund demolition activity, community outreach, and program administration across the five participating counties. You may also donate a piece of property to support the program. Contact the program administrator for details on either giving option.
